Aaron Kiel Principal
As a top-notch public relations and marketing communications professional, Aaron Kiel has worked with: The Specialty Coffee Association of America; The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network; The Electronic Document Systems Foundation; OutputLinks; The Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific; Xplor International; IMAX Race for Atlantis Ride; Park Hyatt Los Angeles at Century City; United States Postal Service (USPS); The City of La Verne, Calif.; the United States Barista Championship; The World Barista Championship; and many others.
With more than 14 years experience, Aaron applies his strategic planning, creativity and enthusiasm to assist organizations with their public relations and marketing activities, custom publishing needs, writing and editing, special events and other marketing communications.
Prior to launching ak PR Group in September of 2001, Aaron managed the public relations efforts for Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, and its many conferences. He was also an editor of Xplor's member publications. Today, Aaron still works in the document and printing industry as editor-in-chief of OutputLinks, which is the leading information and news resource of the high volume transaction output industry.
For the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), Aaron worked on the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 national campaigns to raise awareness of the disease and the need for more research and a cure. He also worked on four PanCAN celebrity galas---called "An Evening with the Stars" in Beverly Hills---where some honorees, including actors Kelsey Grammer, Jay Mohr and Robert Wuhl, walked the event's red carpet and received the Jack Benny Humanitarian Award.
Aaron is also proud to have been a part of the public relations team that managed the publicity for the 1998 grand opening of the world-class Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific. He is also pleased to be the managing editor of the Specialty Coffee Association of America's member magazine, The Specialty Coffee Chronicle, which is published bi-monthly.
